News: Fun Times On The Server

Today I was the only admin online at like 2:30 to 3:45. I had to deal with 27 people....asking me to World Edit all of their builds, and I explained how to apply online 3 different ways to 1 person...it was horrible. The other people who were online with me were getting super upset at this Guests. They were rude, and not able to understand super simple things.

I also really hate it when new people come on and spam "Admin...admin....admin....admin...admin....I can't apply....how do I apply....what do I do.....help....help....help"

The worst of this is when you have multiple Guests asking this over and over. Then when you try to explain it to someone on how to apply, it must mean that you are only talking to 1 Guest at a time...because instantly after you help 1, the next one asks. As if they are are in an endless line, trudging forward waiting for their turn to add gray hairs to you head. 

I was thinking of just copy and pasting a link to the Server Etiquette that was posted on the corkboard in the chat over and over when they are super rude.

I really would like to also point out a fact.

DON'T SPAM ADMINS WITH "I NEED WORLD EDITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME OVER HERE!!!!"

And then just send me a teleport request! Not say like some other people do "Hey Pmag/Pmaguire/Pat/Patrick/Admin if you aren't busy, could you come and World Edit some stuff for me?" Then if I say yes, I would teleport to them, but if I say no and say "In a bit, I am busy right now." They would say "Thank you. Whenever you can would be nice!" And not what other people do, and just ask me every few seconds....

Another thing to point out. Don't tell other people how to build things. Creative mode on Minecraft is for the personal interpretation, and not for you to tell others what they should and shouldn't build. An example, is when some people just constantly tell you how they could make your build better, or that your redstone sucks and they could make it compact or better. This is the most freaking annoying thing I have ever heard. If you have an input on someone's build, either keep it to yourself, or ask them if they would like to hear what you have to say.

mgabrys is a good example of someone who has manners. He always asks if I would like to hear what he has to say about one of my builds, and doesn't just say "Your build sucks. Here is what you are going to do to make it better." He says stuff like "Hey pmag, want to hear my opinion about what you should do to make this build better?" I always like to hear what people have to say, but I didn't get Admin from luck. All of the Admins are great at building, so don't think that we are idiots or something. We all know what we are doing. So be respectful. 

So please people. Follow the rules. Read the signs at the front! I spent a ton of time making those for all of the Guests. You literally have to walk through them to leave the main spawn. So asking "How do I apply" isn't an option. There are signs explaining everything on what to do. Now last, just have fun! This is a fun creative server, not a "Be a dick to as many people as I can" server.
