You knew it was coming - and it's finally here.
After 2.5+ months, my solo build aka : "Zeppelin City One" is complete. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but this thing is large enough for a video. Special thanks to Pmag and Ping for helping throw switches and set day / night during the video "shoot". Also included an assortment of in-build photos plus the source image that the Airship started from.

Oh, correct me if I'm wrong -- but did I notice a day/night cycle onboard the ship?
Yes, at that size a certain amount of ambient light enters the "sealed" ship (causing day/night), however there are piston shutters in the midsection as well (to bring in more light) as well as glows tone lamps in the 2 forward sections.

This thing is so freaking amazing, Mgab. As I've said before, this is an automatic win for Staff Choice. And the video! The video was great!
I just don't have enough nice things to say about this build. I'll say most of them in the staff choice award post, though. Sorry for taking away any anticipation as to whether you win or not, but there's just nothing new on our server that can compete on this level.

As soon as the brochure and title deed templates are designed (in the next week or so), I'll start giving away houses weekly to one of the winners of of each week's challenge contests (a winner from the winners so to speak). The brochures will have a run down of all the features of each unit and the title will have the winners name attached to the property in .pdf goodness.
There's 20 weeks worth of housing available in "Portland", plenty of time to complete ship 2 which hold enough winners to last 10x more (I may be able to offer them to all the challenge winners instead of 1-per-week).

I don't see why not, take a tour and see what you like. The one on the top of the hill is mine (of course), and I forgot to mention;
The abode with the diamond ore-door, the "Luxus" unit (the only unit with 4 block high ceilings and the most features outside of my house, plus nearly the most outside windows) is being held back for the first person to get "god" status on the server (there was almost a danger of it being awarded before the ship was even finished).

Well ive got 2 held back for Herr Doktor and whomever gets god first, that takes me down to 18 weeks to finish ship 2 (when I should be able to give one away to every challenge winner) - if i take it down to 17 weeks, I start eating it into my cushion (I may be moving soon, so I'll need it).
You could kick but on a weekly challenge couldn't you lein? - btw lein - if you're here did you judge the skrym build? I was about to judge it for you (late because of schedule conflict and - I need to know what skyrm looks like since I don't play it :P. I'll post it today if I don't see anything regardless).
No, I found some wifi and checked the forums with my iPod touch.
