Minecraft World's Weekly Workshop: Building a Suffocation Trap

Welcome to Minecraft World! Check out our advanced tutorials and come play on our free server.

Minecraft World's Weekly Workshop: Architectural Design and Aesthetics

Have you ever fallen victim to a redstone trap? Well, this week's Saturday workshop will give you the confidence you need in order to make your own! This workshop will be centered around creating a suffocation trap with an extra added surprise.

Andrewed and I (Maroselis) have a tutorial area set up with a warp, so when the tutorial starts we will let everyone know which warp to use. Throughout the tutorial, we will invite everyone to try out traps of their own, or you can simply follow along step by step.

If anyone has experience creating redstone suffocation/sand traps, we would love you to join us in teaching the rest of the server. Please leave a comment on this thread with what you can bring to the table!

We have a few different traps set up, so depending on what you prefer, you can recreate one or make your own version!

(1) Outside of trap, (2) Free stuff!, (3) Barebone view of wiring - Left side, (4) Barebone view of wiring - Right side

Join us this Saturday, February 4th at 4:00 pm CST where we will recreating this trap step by step and sharing a secret surprise!

We use TeamSpeak3 for our tutorials; you can download it free here.

My bro Sproga2 is AWSOME at redstone. We work together at redstone projects. He does the redstone work and I do the Decor and building to cover the redstone. :D

I can make a lot of traps, does it have to be a suffocation?
