Minecraft: Pi Edition, Coming Soon to a Raspberry Pi Near You

Yes, that's right. Apparently, you don't have to play Minecraft on your computer or mobile device anymore. Mojang recently created a port of the Minecraft: Pocket Edition that they're calling Minecraft: Pi Edition.

It will support several programming languages, so you can code directly into Minecraft before actually playing. It's a great way for Minecrafters to get into programming.

Minecraft: Pi Edition was unveiled at Minecon in Paris on November 24th, and is expected to be a free download when it's soon released to the masses.

You can read more on the Pi Edition over at Mojang's or Rasberry Pi's site.

Apple's iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 updates are packed with new features, and you can try them before almost everyone else. First, check Gadget Hacks' list of supported iPhone and iPad models, then follow the step-by-step guide to install the iOS/iPadOS 26 beta — no paid developer account required.
