Two wonderful, wonderful things converge! Minecraft Forum's rushone2009 introduces the Bladecraft Project, a melding of Blade Runner and Minecraft. The current texture pack and map downloads contain no adventure or goal, just exploring and discovering movie references. Download here.

Personally, I think this is great! So many great scenes and locations to re-experience. Inside the Tyrell Corporation, Zhora's chase through the streets, Sebastian's building as the setting with the final showdown between Deckard and Roy. Even dialogue would be a blast in this setting, like the famous Leon interview scene:
Holden: You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down...
Leon: What one?
Holden: What?
Leon: What desert?
Holden: It doesn't make any difference what desert, it's completely hypothetical.
Leon: But, how come I'd be there?
Holden: Maybe you're fed up. Maybe you want to be by yourself. Who knows? You look down and see a creeper, Leon. It's crawling toward you...
Leon: Creeper? What's that?
Holden: You know what a bomb is?
Leon: Of course!
Holden: Same thing.
Leon: I've never seen a creeper... But I understand what you mean.
Holden: You reach down and enclose the creeper in a fence, Leon.
Leon: Do you make up these questions, Mr. Holden? Or do they write 'em down for you?
Holden: The creeper is stuck in the fence, its green skin baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to jump over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.
... and so on and so on. Wouldn't it be great to play around like this in Minecraft?
