Video: . The Walls is a PvP survival map that takes back Minecraft to it's roots: crafting, surviving and creativity.
A cool use for wireless redstone in light of a previous video I made about Proximity detection. this version is very resource light and has the potential for a lot of different uses.
Just a small plane I made. The Bell X-1 was the first plane to break the sound barrier.
In most cases, gravity may as well not exist in Minecraft. The blocks all stick together in unreal ways, and you can even make things that just float in the sky.
Yeah, it's not done yet! But it will be soon!!! I had an exam today and that was my last one so I will hopefully be done before I leave for Perth this weekend! :)
This is a video I made for one of my subscribers that I thought might be handy for anyone wanting to get into redstone.
Here at WonderHowTo, we've been following the Minecraft LEGO set for quite some time, through its development on LEGO CUUSOO (a LEGO site where users can submit ideas for LEGO sets) to its eventual implementation.
Welcome to Minecraft World! Check out our tutorials, post to the Inspiration board, and come play on our free server! HELLO, FELLOW MINECRAFTERS. Pmaguire here, bringing you my favorite idea for a competition so far! I hope that you will come to love it as much as I do! Well, starting off, as the title states, this week's Redstone Competition will be PvP Arenas! Except, not just ones where you physically fight. You have to have traps, things that make it hard to fight, and various ideas using...
As most of you already know, the White House is the seat of the Executive branch of government in the United States. Constructed in 1792, it is one of the oldest buildings in the U.S. During the War of 1812, it was burned down and later rebuilt. The White House was inspired by a few foreign government buildings and is somewhat Greek in appearance.
Minecart rides primarily serve two different functions—transportation or entertainment. We rarely see minecart-based transportation systems in Minecraft these days because most servers support warps or allow users to set multiple homes that they can simply teleport to. That leaves the primary purpose of entertainment.
Hi, all! After building my 20:1 TARDIS, I wanted to build another spaceship, but this time, I wanted to build a real one. I wanted it to be a well-known rocket, but more importantly, I wanted it to be a huge rocket.
This is crazy, Lego is putting out an official Minecraft set! It looks as though all the blocks are just one width, so I wonder how they stay together laterally.
Redstone and electricity have much in common. They both have what's called resistance. That is, they only travel a certain distance before the signal degrades to the point where it's unusable, and they take a certain amount of time to get there. With electricity, that time is nearly instantaneous because electricity is extremely fast. Redstone, on the other hand, is pretty slow.
The first item of business is that our very own William Finucane of Mad Science has written an article explaining exactly how the 3D printing process works, which may help some of you to better conceptualize how your builds will come to life in the 3D world!
Today I was the only admin online at like 2:30 to 3:45. I had to deal with 27 people....asking me to World Edit all of their builds, and I explained how to apply online 3 different ways to 1 person...it was horrible. The other people who were online with me were getting super upset at this Guests. They were rude, and not able to understand super simple things.
What happened to please and thank you? When did asking someone to come look at your build degenerate into COME NOW or FOLLOW or sending out teleport requests to any and all currently on the server without asking?
Hey guys! Just made a tutorial on one of the best TNT cannons I've ever made. It was in a video, but I've improved it to shoot soooooo much farther. Hope you guys like it!
A game labeled as 'educational' usually spells its death among hardcore gamers. The educational game genre is mostly intended for children, and games that appeal to children often lack the sort of widespread appeal that makes them commercially successful.
There are a million tutorials on the Internet for how to transmit redstone power up and down, but that's because vertical power transfers are both really important and very counterintuitive. This quick and easy guide should help clear it up!
Here is my last minute staff choice ( Mon-Fri I think) entry, a giant... well you see. A nice big bridge. With support cables (fences) and guard rails.
Hey guys! Just an easy design/tutorial of how to make the lowest resource and easiest to build piston door that's great for hallways! Make sure to check out my other videos and suggest other topics/tutorials that you want to see! Have fun and play Minecraft.
Minecarts are a lot more complicated than they may seem at first. Between regular rails, powered rails, and detector rails, they all have a lot of quirks that can make them hard to use.
Hey all! Just a quick video on a little piston elevator that I made. Compact and easy to make, and I hope you all liked it! You can only watch it from this post/link so make sure to check out my other videos to suggest future posts!
Hey guys! Make sure to check out my other videos for some super and amazing tutorial! This is the most compact block changer I have ever seen! Comment on my videos whatever you want to see a tutorial on! Hope you liked it!
Many people get so discouraged by their failures with redstone that they give up using it entirely, or never progress beyond using simple switches. However, by incorporating logic gates into your redstone designs, the applications are nearly limitless. The ability to add multiple switches to your machines is just a small part of what logic gates can do. Most importantly, they give you control.
When you get bored and ordinary boolean logic gates just won't solve your problems, and when AND-gates, OR-gates and XNOR-gates just feel too digital, why not make your redstone contraptions feel a bit more analog?
Levers are the only toggleable way to provide a steady source of power to your redstone circuits, but they're ugly and they stick out like a sore thumb. Just look at this:
I sometimes play on a survival server where griefing is not only allowed, but almost encouraged. Keeping yourself safe and other on their toes is important. :)
Minecraft is unique among computer games in that some users have created such breathtaking works of beauty and ingenuity that it challenges the very idea that Minecraft is even a game at all, but suggests that it is instead a tool for artistic expression much like Photoshop.
This is the first boss we are releasing out of a "boss series" coming soon this summer! Using redstone, I think we managed to get the "boss feeling" in minecraft!
You see before you the humble block: This single, unassuming block couldn't possibly hold anything of value, right?
Survive 25 waves of monsters by managing limited supplies and hidden treasures in this map powered by redstone!
We need 8 of the best redstoners to come out for this. This is a redemption style tournament. What that means is that if you lose to your first opponent you go to the losers bracket and fight the losers for a chance to battle the top redstoner.
What do you think of the build?

Here is a little update for Hannover for you all!
Today, I made a dirt house... with redstone! This is my self building village, including a self building dirt house as requested :)
