Hide Your Goods from Even the Most Discerning Thief in This Saturday's Minecraft Workshop

You see before you the humble block:

Hide Your Goods from Even the Most Discerning Thief in This Saturday's Minecraft Workshop

This single, unassuming block couldn't possibly hold anything of value, right?

That's only what we want thieves to think! With a little bit of magic, this block (or any other basic block) can be turned into a secret chest capable of keeping your valuable materials safe. Since the block doesn't open like a regular chest, no one will even be able to tell when you're putting things in or taking them out. It's the perfect disguise!

This technique, discovered by our very own James Andrew (aka SaintJamez), uses a combination of minecarts, pistons, and glitches to literally embed a chest inside of a single block.

The process looks a little bit like this:

Now, come learn from the master himself! SaintJamez will be teaching the workshop this Saturday, May 12th at 12:01 pm PST (3:01 pm EST). Simply log into our server at mc.wonderhowto.com and type /warp hiddenchest to visit the workshop location.

Don't forget to make use of our TeamSpeak server, as it's an extremely useful tool for explaining complex ideas. Our TeamSpeak address is ts.wonderhowto.com, and no password is required.

Hope to see you there!
